I remember when you read Lit because I remember you telling me about it and me buying it and reading it in 2011 based on your recommendation. But I never knew what it ignited in you. I can't wait to read your memoir.

I relate a lot to having to scavenge for feeling and emotions that were locked away. I’ve only recently started to allow myself to feel. It’s strange, I get emotional and cry a lot now! Haha! I also relate to writing personal experiences and worrying that my mother can somehow know what I’m describing… (she can, she is on the email list for my SubStack.)

I can tell, even from this short article, that you have an important story to tell. One that I know I will heavily relate to.
