I remember when you read Lit because I remember you telling me about it and me buying it and reading it in 2011 based on your recommendation. But I never knew what it ignited in you. I can't wait to read your memoir.
I relate a lot to having to scavenge for feeling and emotions that were locked away. I’ve only recently started to allow myself to feel. It’s strange, I get emotional and cry a lot now! Haha! I also relate to writing personal experiences and worrying that my mother can somehow know what I’m describing… (she can, she is on the email list for my SubStack.)
I can tell, even from this short article, that you have an important story to tell. One that I know I will heavily relate to.

That’s wild! I don’t remember telling you, but not surprised I did. 😊
It's also wild that I can still picture where I was sitting when I started reading it. :)
Yes! So wild. It’s an intense book.
This makes me very excited to read your book! Keep going - you have such an important story to share.
Thank you, Clare! That means a lot. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Oh Josie... oof, I feel this. It's so weird to finally feel, isn't it? It must feel so good (and confusing) to finally be letting them out, right?
I'm so glad you can relate to my story. It sounds like I will relate to yours too. I hope to hear more. Take care!
Loved reading this. And I can't wait to read the book!
Thanks so much, Tina!
